Le Clos Bareth


A blend of Trousseau and Chardonnay from a tiny, south facing fifty five year old parcel planted over clay and limestone in the heart of Mesney. The grapes were destemmed and fermented for three weeks on the skins, before being pressed off to cuve for nine months. This really blossoms with air, revealing a pale, delicate and nuanced wine that could only be from the Jura.
